And I have had "32" years of getting used to it. I think those areas that are near a central time zone (especially for those who work in a different one) should be on the one they are closest too. For us, being close to Louisville and in that media market, eastern time is better. I hated having to decipher what time zone I was going to and figuring out time difference (yeah, I know it's only an hour, but then you had to remember did we spring forward or fall backward). My cousin lived in a county that didn't change (and only 35 minutes from Louisville) and her work was on Louisville/eastern time and it really made for a very long day for her. And for the record--I don't like our stupid governor either. Love that extra hour of daylight every night, especially on Monday's when I have to go out to the creepy dumpster area to take the trash out after work.
