happy Sunday

“Write in your heart that every day is the best day of the year.”
~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Happy Sunday, everyone!  I hope you’re having a bright & sunny weekend!

This week, I am happy that Spring is here.  Okay, so we may still get a couple cold snaps, but I’m keeping a positive thought, here, & have decided that from now on, the weather is going to be warm & lovely.  I was even able to open up all the doors & windows yesterday to let in the glorious Spring breeze…& give the cats a much-needed thrill.  Oh, how excited they were to hear the birds chirp & smell all those outdoor smells. :kitty

I am happy that my taxes are well & truly & officially done, as well as being well & truly & officially filed.  Whew. :faint   I hate those things more than mold on cheese, but it always feels so good to have them taken care of & out of the way for another year.  (Even if that year always seems to go by really, really fast. :sadheart )

I am happy that I finally got the thumbs-up, start-your-engines nod of approval on my synopsis for my “Dynasties:  The Kincaids” story.  It always feels great—as well as being a huge relief—to know I’m on the right track & that my editor is happy with my vision for a new project.

Now to jump in & start writing, which brings me to my next Sunday happy…

PhotobucketI am happy that I’ve started writing my “Dynasties:  The Kincaids” book.  I can’t say it was the smoothest launch in recorded history…I actually got about 7 pages in, then realized it would be better & had to go back & rework the scene…but I think I’m on the right track & am hoping the road will be a little less bumpy from here on out.

I am happy that fellow Harlequin Desire author, Tessa Radley, & I seem to be so much on the same page when it comes to characterization for our related stories.  We have been chatting back & forth about our heroines’ personalities, clothing styles, & wedding preferences, & it’s going swimmingly! :eeee

And that about does it for me this week.  How about you?  Please share all your little happinesses & successes from the past week with us so we can celebrate together.

I LOVE spring! Well except for the pollen. I am so glad I can get out of the house without freezing my tail off. Everything is getting green and the flowers are starting to show. I can get out and work in the yard. I am happy that I have my family and they are all in good health. I am glad I live in America and not in the war torn parts of the world or suffering like Japan. I am glad I had good teachers who gave me the gift of reading. So I can go anywhere and everywhere. Have a great day

    Happy Day!!

Im happy because we just found Igor at the video store…the libraries copies have been lost…jeesh…. we’re going to be watching it as soon as Coraline is over.
Im happy because dinner has been made and I accepted a recipe challenge from my Italian friend…to make Arancini…filled rice balls…(my dh wanted to know how I would get the rice’s legs apart…dork)….and I did it!! they came out golden brown and they stayed together..which was the problem my friend was having with them. So I saved her out one for tomorrow at work.
Im happy that we got a bicycle headlight and tail light for my bicycle so I can start riding it to work…5:45 is a little early to be riding in the dark for me…so now Im waiting for dh to attach them for me.
Ok…I think that completes my Happy for one day!!
    Hugs y’all!! :blowkiss
