Yay! Survived it! All the food turned out good!!

  2. Laura J. says:

Well other than being stuck in the house the entire day (which does not make for a very pretty Huggy Bear–let me tell ya) my day was blah.

I’m not out shopping right now, but somehow, someway I will get out of this house today.

(From B’Girl–why don’t you have a monkey smiley? But here’s one she would like to share with everyone today…. )

  3. Laura J. says:

Weird, it didn’t work gonna try again and if it doesn’t then I’ll have her pick something else out.

  4. Laura J. says:

    Let’s hope this one works.

  5. Heidi says:

Laura~ I probably do have a monkey emoticon…several of them…just haven’t used them yet. Tell B-girl I’ll try to get her one soon (but prob’ly not till after the holidays. )

If you have some she likes, send ‘em via e-mail & I’ll add them to my collection.

I WAS out shopping. And we’re such creature’s of habit in this tiny town, that everyone went to the Wal Mart at the center of town and no one went to the brand new one on the outskirts…oh, such wonderful deals. :-) Makes me happy. The youngest baby has a birthday in a week, then this baby is due just after Christmas, plus there’s all the gifties for Christmas, so I desperately needed a sale! But we got everything we wanted and didn’t even fight the crowds!

  7. Hollie says:

we survived the big poultry day! and No we did NOT go shopping! I did get some more crocheting done though..on my last set of orders ..woo hoo!!!

  8. Heidi says:

No shopping for me, either. In fact, no leaving the house. You couldn’t *pay* me to brave the stores today…& there’s nothing in this world I need badly enough to stand in line or deal with those crowds. No, thank you!

  9. Laura J. says:

Okay I finally went out. Well actually three times. Once was to get stuff to make chili since I was missing the tomato sauce. Then we went out to dinner and that was very tasty. And the final time was a trip to Meijers to “supposedly” pick up on Christmas Card pictures and once again I am very disappointed with their photo department. Looks like I will be looking for another place to go. Again. *sigh*

Heidi–B’girl would love you. Well more. I mean you do like cats, horror stuff, writing, zombies, etc. (she’s just pretending she doesn’t know you write kissing books) so you are already tops on her list.

The shopping sounds wonderful, but we stayed in and decorated. (Well, mainly DH decorated–I wrote and am currently at 31,235 words! Woot for ITryWriMo!!!)

Now, some tea and a nice movie. Maybe some shopping tomorrow.

  11. Laura J. says:

We are going shopping tomorrow, but it’s not for any Christmas gifts. *g* Hoping we come home with an alien green colored vehicle. Yes, I said the color is alien green!!!! (okay–it’s mostly for the hubs, but occasionally I may just have to drive it too).

  12. Laura J. says:

Oh wait, did I say “we” are going shopping. That would be hubs is shopping. I don’t do the whole “negotiating” part of that kind of shopping.

  13. Dee says:

Yes, went to Target this evening. Did not even want to brave the early morning crazies.
