a Friday funny
Today is both Friday the 13th—which you know I love!—& the Friday after my birthday, so we’re going to do a bit of double duty here by posting a little of this & a little of that.

And my personal favorite, sent to me by our own Darling Barb:

I love the cat ones the best. I’m biased.
These are so good! Can’t wait to show B’Girl the Jason one!!
I need a funny today…..had to keep my little guy home from school with a sore throat and 100.7 fever.
My house reeks of Lysol already this morning in my assuredly futile attempt at keeping my 4 year old from catching whatever crud the 6 year old came home from kindergarten with.
Yeah, I’m like Dee in that I like the cat ones best. However, the others did cause me to snort tea up my nose in laughter, so I, in all honesty, cannot discount them.
(Sorry about the kidlet Grace–hope he gets better soon and that the 4yo doesn’t catch it!)
And more birthday wishes to Heidi!!! Ice cream cake for everybody!!!
Yes, the cat ones are my favorite, too. (Should we perhaps change the name of this place to “Heidi’s Cat House”? *snicker*
) But that “small gift” one cracks me up, too!
Laura~ I knew you—or rather, B-girl—would enjoy the Jason one, just be sure she doesn’t see the one below it or you’ll have some major ’splaining to do in response to the age-old question “Mommy, what does that word mean?”.
Grace~ So sorry you’ve got a sick little one at home. Hope he feels better soon…& that the 4yo doesn’t get it next!
Pam~ As much as I appreciate the continued b’day wishes, did you *have* to mention ice cream cake?!? So hungry now. Drooling, even. You are just cruel.
(Mistress Heidi would be so proud, tho.
)
Thats too funny!!! Have a great weekend all.
Woo Hoo….I LOVE Friday the 13s!!! They always bring good luck my way! i know…i know…strange…but not surprising!! snork
Heidi,
I got a birthday present for me for you. Finally reading Chicks with Sticks books. :-) Almost done with the first one!!
*snort* ‘mommy, what does that mean…?’ my friend was listening to Lily Allen on the radio, her 9yo says ‘why is her life so…fantastic because she’s packing plastic?’ friend explained what she thought it meant, looked it up on Urban dictionary…not what it meant. Look it up. I dare you.
I like the cat. My cat is the most uncatty cat ever though. He doesn’t DO anything. He just pops in for a meal now and then and goes back to terrorizing the local wildlife.
Even though the meters aren’t there right now, you could put mine at 16,319.
Hollie~ Same here. So far today, I got word that my outline for the Desire continuity story was approved, & they gave me a pretty much final title for the book: “Inheriting His Secret Christmas Baby.”
Maisey~ Yay! I’m so happy you’re enjoying TANGLED. Thank you for picking them up. And now you’ll be all caught up for KNOCK in February.
As for “packing plastic” I’m guessing she’s got boob implants. (That’s before going to Urban Dictionary.) And now… Ooooookay. Well, I’m okay with the first definition…I, too, am packing plastic, in that case…but the second…eeewwww. TMI! TMI!
Pam~ The meters are back…at least on my end! And whoo-hoo, way to go.
Maisey’s got us all beat, but I’m working up a nice bit of revenge for her, so no worries there.

At dinner last night b’Girl tells her dad…”Daddy, I shouldn’t watch that (Rambo) because it has too much blood and violence.” Uh…B’Girl..you do realize that is what the whole Jason movie is right? “Yeah, but I want to watch Jason.”
I really surprised that none of my kids have a potty mouth on them (at least that I have heard). With as much time as they spend with me driving around town, they have surely picked up some colorful words by now. Not that I want to explain that one on the cake above. *g*
Yeah, she thought boob implants too, which was interesting enough to explain. Then she found the real one. Did not explain THAT one.
LOL. at first I thought you meant you had implants… Nothing wrong with that!!
And why must I be punished? I admit, it was very fast. A record for, since it was a 50K word MS and I finished in just under 3wks…but I feel I should get a cookie not beaten.
Laura~ *snerk* I’m liking that B-girl more & more every day. And you should see me trying to clean my mouth up in front of decent folk. Half the time, I don’t even remember what the non-swear word is for what I’m trying to say!
Maisey~ No, no boob job for me, sadly. Of course, if you’re offering…
And you already got your cookie, remember?
Everybody gets one when they come to the Dark Side. But, truly, we’re all just jealous that you’re zipping ahead while we’re slogging thru quicksand at the speed of snail snot.

Oh, and I must say…the original idea for my Heidi Betts inspired tramp stamp is still a goodie. FFW is still a fave, after all. But now I’m thinking I should go with ‘hop the train to effsville’ (I’ve censored it to keep it classy)
Oh, and if I could afford a boob job, I think I’d have to give it to me. :-)
But hey, if I got my million I want for my b-day…boob jobs all around!!!
I have a feeling the MS I just started is a wee bit more snail snotty in consistancy. I was lucky to have hit on one with some characters who just took it and ran, this one, I may have to drag stuff out of them.
Hey..if you are doing the boobjobs for all(when you get your millions) i want the unboob job please…nice,perky..ya know…. reduce, recycle, reuse?? and Thank you in advance Maisey!!
I just need a lift…no implants.
Lifting is good Dee!!!
i could go for a lift!!
LOL I remember writing that line! Sometimes I even make myself laugh. *snork*
I agree. Don’t necessarily need the implants, but a little something to turn sandbags into happy fun bags again would be okay.
Yeah, even I think a lift would be better for me. Brought on by having all the kids!! I have a friend that actually got some of those magic boob pills to try, if they work for her I might give it a go…
I make myself laugh too, Heidi. And you make me laugh. :-D
