  4. Heidi says:

Happy Halloween, everyone! My favorite holiday, indeed, but I’m still hightailing it out of here tonight to avoid the little bast…I mean, trick-or-treaters.

I’ll come back when the coast is clear…

  5. Maisey says:

Tip for avoiding trick or treaters: live in the middle of nowhere. I’ve always lived out here. (moved across the street from my parents after I got married) so…yeah, lived on the this same street even for like 23 years and have seen maybe one crazy trick or treater.

  6. Happy Halloween to Heidi, Mistress Heidi and all the Dungeon regulars!! Have a wild time this weekend!!!

  7. Paula R. says:

    Happy Halloween everyone!

I missed you guys! I was done for the count with H1N1 symptoms, and crazy busy at work. It is good to be back, still not 100%, but I am out of bed. Now I need to catch up on all I missed.

    Peace and love,
    Paula R.

  8. Pamela Cayne says:

  15. Laura J. says:

Awwww Paula. Sorry you were sick, but glad to hear you are feeling better.

B’girl got me lots of candy…I mean got lots of candy for her (to share with me). Middle son decided he was too old to tot but he thinks he’ll be digging into his sisters stash. Oldest son was in Ohio all day and will also try to steal candy.

I ended the night by tripping over our dog gate and now have a sore knee and ankle, so I’m calling it a night! Got to cash in on that extra hour of sleep tonight!

  16. Maisey says:

Awwww…sorry about the H1N1 I hear it’s awful. I am barracaded in my home (not quite, but close) till it passes. High risk people in my fam, including me, but I’m vaccinated.

And muahahahahah!!! I have passed up Heidi on word count!!!

    Though, hers are probably better.

Now I need to write today so I can keep it up!

  17. Pamela Cayne says:

Way to go on the word count, Maisey. Be warned though–I’m a late bloomer!

  18. Maisey says:

yeah and I’ve done a big fat zip words today! Painting baby bedroom instead. But we get to set the clocks back tonight and since I’m West Coast it’s only ten…make it NINE!

  19. Heidi says:

Oooh, Paula, so sorry to hear you’ve been sick. That does explain your noticeable absence, tho. Glad you’re starting to feel better.

That’s something I actually should have mentioned for Super Sunday—I am still proudly & happily germ free. (Knock on wood!)

  20. Paula R. says:

Thanks Heidi! I have fingers crossed that you stay germ-free. I noticed that you are really going on the writing scale there. I like your version of NaNo…I got over my nervousness, and finally put BICHOK!!! I got a good word count too…very excited about that. Hopefully, I can do it again tomorrow or even later today.

    Peace and love,
    Paula R.
