...Woman's World, for promoting romance novels in an extremely positive light.
On the inside cover of the February 13th issue of Woman's World magazine, they claim that this week--well, Valentine's week--is a great time to read a romance novel!
They go on to mention that a romance novel is sold every five seconds. (Yippee! :-D) And that the stories have come a long way since the early "bodice-rippers," with strong heroines who are more than a match for their male counterparts. (Glory be, somebody finally noticed! :-p)
They also say that "nothing beats being swept away by the fantasy of a sensitive, handsome hero saving the day!" (You can say that again. *g*)
Forget a single rose. For giving such a great nod to the genre & not making even one snarky comment, they can have a whole bouquet of roses!
