the cutest baby in the whole wide world
This is Camden Christopher, my neighbor's five-month-old nephew, whom I absolutely adore. I've basically been going over on a daily basis since he was three months old to get my "baby fix." (That's an outfit I bought him, by the way. Isn't he handsome? :-))Yes, yes, I know other people have children & think they're pretty darn cute, but I'm sorry, this is the cutest baby ever! And that's coming from someone who's not particularly fond of children of any age.
When I met my friend in Grove City a couple weekends ago, I asked if she wanted to see a picture of my new baby. (Hey, his parents weren't around; they couldn't stop me, right? *g*) And, yes, I actually carry pictures of Camden around with me in my wallet. :-) So I pulled out the pictures & showed them to her, & she says, "Oh! It's a real baby! I thought you were going to show me pictures of your cat." LOL
Most of the time, this baby is a complete sweetheart, but even when he's fussy & screaming, I still think he's adorable. (Go figure. Usually, you'd see me running about a hundred miles an hour in the opposite direction of a crying child. LOL) Instead of handing him back & hightailing it back home when he starts crying, I just bounce around hushing & singing. And there's nothing better than holding him while he's drinking his bottle. :-)
The best part, though, is when he starts smiling & giggling. Now that's adorable.
In fact, I've come up with another excuse to drop in again this morning, so I'd better get going. I told you, I need my baby fix. :-D
