back to the world of the living
Hi, everyone! Whew, has this been a busy week, or what? Really, you have no idea. It's too much to post all at once, so I'm going to break it into little bits & sprinkle it over the next few days. (I'd give you some hints, but I can't think of any! LOL)First & foremost, I got my revisions done. Thank God. It took me until 11pm Tuesday night to get them finished & packed up, but I was able to put them in the mail yesterday morning, just as planned. Now I just have to hope I did a good job & my editor approves them. (That was a windshield moment. :-))
Unfortunately, I didn't get to enjoy that for very long before I learned that a friend of mine passed away on Monday. She was 78 years old & had been battling cancer for quite a while. It started in her breast & spread, & I guess they just couldn't stop it. Helen was a great lady, & she loved romance novels. She's the only person I knew who spent as much time & money at the bookstore as I do. :-) The romance world & I have both lost a great friend...& we're both going to miss her. (Bug moment, definitely. Big splat.)
So next on the agenda is to work on plotting CHRISTMAS IN HIS ROYAL BED. I have a general idea of what I'm going to do with the story, but I need to put it all in order & bulk it all up so I have enough to fill a book.
And like I said, I have news. But I'll get to that later...
