question of the week
Another TV-related question, cuz I'm curious... :-)What do you think of the recent habit of secondary cable channels repeating popular shows from other networks only a week after the episode premieres?
Know what I'm talking about? Like USA repeating brand new episodes of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit or House only a few days to a week after they've played on NBC or Fox.
More and more networks are doing this, too, & I'm wondering if we love it or hate it. I mean, is it great because it gives you another chance to watch an episode or show you love...or better yet, catch it if you missed the first run? Or are we a little annoyed at having the same episodes of these shows shoved down our throats so close together?
I'm on the fence. I do like the chance to see a show if I missed it the first time...oh, if only some channel were repeating the brand new episodes of CSI: Miami. *g* But other times, I start to get excited that a show I like is on...only to be disappointed when I discover it's the same darn episode I just saw.
I'll leave it to you to decide for sure. What do you think? Enquiring minds want to know. :-D
