a very productive weekend
Got some really good writing done over the weekend. I'm still not quite halfway through this book that's due next month (my "Dakota Fortunes" continuity story) but it's coming along & I think if I really hustle, I can get it done on time.I also mowed the yard last night. It really needed it...I hadn't bothered since before RWA, so the grass was getting kind of high. LOL I'm also hoping this particular cut lasts until after I get FORTUNE'S FORBIDDEN WOMAN turned in, but I don't think I'll be so lucky. :-p I did get it done just in time, though, because it's raining this morning. Not a lot, but enough.
Also over the weekend, I finished reading Amy Fetzer's Out of Uniform. Very good. I love a sexy military hero. :-) I was going to pick up a big book afterwards...a romantic suspense or paranormal, but Uniform got me so in the mood for Desires that I grabbed up another one of those instead. They are, after all, the best books out there. *vbg* So now I'm reading Secrets in the Marriage Bed by Nalini Singh. I've still got Countdown by Iris Johansen and Kill the Competition by Stephanie Bond going, too.
And now it's time to get back to FFW. Only a few more pages until I can finish chapter 5 & start chapter 6. Yay! :-)
