sleep eludes me...
Well, here I am at 5am, way earlier than I usually wake up. But I darn well couldn't sleep, & got sick of tossing & turning, so I decided to get up.Of course, part of the reason I couldn't sleep was because a cat was sleeping smack-dab in the middle of the bed & I had to sort of contort myself around him. But wouldn't you know, the minute I got up...so did he. He's now sleeping on the window seat in my office right behind me. :-p
There's also nothing on television at 5am, did you know that? Oh, there's paid programming (i.e. info-mercials) galore, but the only other thing I could find was Miami Vice & The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. So of course I picked Winnie the Pooh! Love that silly old bear, & am even wearing a Pooh & Piglet sweatshirt.
I'm also surprised by how many lights are on in the neighborhood already. Either no one else in town can sleep, either, or they start getting ready for work really, really early. :-P
Since I am up so early, I ought to use the time wisely & try to get some work done.
