nobody tells me anything
Well, this is certainly a nice way to start the weekend!I just found out that SEVEN-YEAR SEDUCTION & MR. AND MISTRESS were nominated for Best Silhouette Desire of 2006 in CataRomance.com's Reviewers' Choice Awards back on August 16th.
No one ever told me, & apparentlyI've been living under a rock, because I never heard about it, either. Usually these lists circulate or you hear whispers of stuff online, but you can tell how much attention I've been paying lately. :-P
I'm pretty sure the winners have already been announced, & I suspect I didn't win or surely someone would have contacted me then. But I don't even care! I'm thrilled just to know that they thought enough of my books to nominate them for this honor.
How exciting! I say this is cause for celebration, even after the fact. It will have to be a quick celebration, though, because I have another book to finish, & my editor won't be nearly as impressed by my turning it in late as she will be by the award nominations. :-D
