bye-bye bombshell
Sorry for not posting sooner, but I was away yesterday, then had trouble logging into Blogger when I tried this morning.I have a bit of industry news to pass along today. I know I mentioned something along these lines recently in the write-ups of my week at RWA National, but Harlequin/Silhouette announced officially today that the Bombshell line is closing. January 2007 will be the final publication date for books that have already been contracted.
I know this has to be very sad & upsetting news for all of the Bombshell authors, & for readers who enjoyed that type of story. Hopefully, though, everyone will land on their feet all the way around.
There's also some scuttlebutt going around about the Luna line narrowing its scope, but nothing official, so I can't say for sure. And don't tell anyone I'm starting rumors, cuz I'm not! :-P
