Well, maybe not totally, but it comes in a pretty close second. :-)I just got a phone call informing me that WHEN THE LIGHTS GO DOWN is a finalist in the Short Contemporary category for Colorado Romance Writers' "Award of Excellence."
Yippee!!!
I was too stunned to ask when this would be posted on their website (so I could make sure I'm not dreaming, of course) & when the winners would be announced, but I'm sure I'll find out eventually. If they don't send me a follow-up letter or e-mail, then I'll hear it through the grapevine.
That was a nice surprise for an otherwise uneventful Sunday afternoon, &--I think--deserves a little bit of a Snoopy Dance. (Picture me dancing, cuz that's what I'm doing. :-D)
