no RITA for me
RWA's RITA & Golden Heart nominations went out today, & I have to admit, I was kind of hoping for a phone call. I didn't really expect one, but I was hoping. :-) I didn't even realize today was the day until I got online to check e-mail & started seeing notes about it. I prefer to not even think about stuff like that...if it's going to happen, I like to be surprised, & if it's not, I don't even want to know. LOLI do have a couple of friends who finaled, tho, so there will definitely be celebrating at the conference in Atlanta this summer! Whoo-hoo!
And--while pretending not to be listening for the phone--I did manage to get 8pgs written on BLACKMAILED INTO BED. That puts me almost halfway thru the book, which is coming along just swimmingly. I can't wait to get it finished, just to see how it turns out.
Now I've got to get back to it. Congratulations to all the RITA & Golden Heart finalists!!! I'll be cheering you on at the Awards Ceremony, & won't wear a stitch of green, I promise. :-D
