back to business
Well, my weekend was pretty much a bust...as far as getting any writing done, anyway. Spent almost all of Saturday helping my mother update her computer--you know, anti-spyware, virus protection, & the like. And of course we're all on dial-up in this neck of the woods, so it took freaking forever. I wish she'd learn to do that sort of thing on her own...but then, you know how mothers are, especially when it comes to technology. :-PThen Sunday I mostly spent--eew, can you believe it?--cleaning. What is with that? I must have been running a fever. (There is something going around; I didn't think I'd caught it, but maybe I did. It's the only explanation I can come up with for that kind of odd behavior.) I sorted, weeded, put things away, dusted, & even vacuumed a bit. Yikes! That's not to say it didn't need done, just that I wouldn't normally take an entire day to do it. LOL
I also managed to finish No Escape by Heather Lowell & am now getting ready to start Kill the Messenger by Tami Hoag & Beyond Innocence by Emma Holly. I hope they're good ones, altho they'll probably both take me forever to get thru. :-( I'm also very close to finishing The MacGregor Grooms by Nora Roberts, & am still eyeing Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince, knowing I should start it but not being quite ready to jump into it yet.
And--for anyone who may be interested in new DVD releases--while fiddling around online this weekend, I discovered that Season 1 of The Young Riders will be out tomorrow, March 21st (Jennifer, that one's for you! :-D)...Season 1 of The Sentinel is coming April 18th (Did anyone besides myself watch that show?!? I loved it!)...& Seasons 1 & 2 of Wings is coming out May 23rd. So mark your calendars & start saving up. :-) Now if they would just start releasing Diagnosis Murder on DVD, darn it, I'd be a happy camper. :-P
