question of the week

This week's question is prompted by one of the questions I just answered for a Q&A at DesireAuthors.com.

If you were stranded on a desert island with only one book to keep you occupied while you waited to be rescued, what would it be & why?

At least over at the DesireAuthors website I got to pick 10 books to have with me on that deserted island. This is much harder. I would even say it borders on cruel.

One book? I'm not sure I could pick just one book. But if I had to, I think it would probably be either Rebecca Brandewyne's The Outlaw Hearts (which I've already read mutiple times & could totally read a few more) or something by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. I'm just not sure what...It Had to be You? Nobody's Baby But Mine? Heaven, Texas? Kiss An Angel? Lady Be Good? This Heart of Mine? Any one of those would be fine with me, but I'd be much happier with all of them. :-)

And why? Because they're so darn good, of course. The Outlaw Hearts is one of the first romances I read & it hit all the right notes with me. And Susan Elizabeth Phillips never disappoints; I love her humor & her characters & her sexual tension. (And the hot football player heroes don't hurt, either.)
