all I want for Christmas...
Now that Thanksgiving has passed, it's time to start looking ahead to the Christmas holiday. Or Hanukkah or Kwanzaa or Festivus...whatever it is that you celebrate. (Personally, I'm all for Festivus--just a bare aluminum pole, the annual "Airing of Grievances" & then a bit of wrestling around the Festivus pole. Now that's what I call a holiday! :-))
And I already know what's going at the top of my wish list...Serenity, the Firefly movie.
I just found out that Serenity is being released on DVD December 20th. Ohmigosh, how excited am I? The Magnificent Seven & Serenity both in the same month? Just in time for Christmas? Yahoo!
Oh, & also, vodka balls. At the denist's office last week, I was flipping thru a magazine & found a section with fun holiday gift suggestions. One was a martini glass filled with vodka-induced truffle balls. Yum. They reminded me a bit of Chef's "Salty Chocolate Balls" on South Park or Alec Baldwin's "Schwetty Balls" on that Saturday Night Live skit. LOL Which is why I think it only fair that I get some balls of my own this Christmas...& they might as well have vodka in them. :-D
