Tuesday Trivia
Good morning!
Now, for this bit of trivia, you'll have to have read the book to really know what I'm talking about. (This is only a small ***SPOILER ALERT***, but if you hate to know anything about a story before you've experienced it for yourself, then stop reading this post now!)
At the end of WHEN THE LIGHTS GO DOWN, Ethan opens a new nightclub called The Jazz Hot. A sister club, if you will, of his original club, The Hot Spot.
Can anyone guess where I got the name of the second club? Go ahead, think about it for a minute. I'd tell you to visit the "Heidi Recommends" page for a hint because it came from one of my favorite movies, but I just realized this one isn't on the list. Hmph. I'll have to make sure it gets added the next time I do updates.
All right, give up? The name of the nightclub, The Jazz Hot, came from the movie Victor/Victoria. So funny! Remember one of the songs Julie Andrews sings while she's a woman, pretending to be a man, pretending to be a woman? It must have been on TCM while I was writing Ethan's & Gwen's story. :-)
And now, of course, I can't get the song out of my head. LOL
