sad news
Had a doctor's appointment today, so I spent the afternoon running around, but when I got home & checked voicemail, there was a message saying that my cousin (once removed) passed away today. I knew she'd been sick, but not that sick.
I'm really going to miss her. She was such a sweet lady, & one of the few relatives who loved my books & supported my career wholeheartedly. She came out to one of my very first booksignings & always dropped me notes after she'd read each subsequent story. She is also leaving behind a daughter who must be positively heartbroken.
