Queen of the pod people
Well, my poor Dudley-uddums is no more. When I went to bed last night, he was still in his caterpillar form, tho he had crawled up to the top of the critter carrier & attached himself in the J-shape that signals the start of the transformation. Then, when I woke up this morning, Dudley was gone & a small green cocoon was all that remained. (Sniff, sniff.) He'll be this way for a while, I guess, before he begins to emerge in his full royal butterfly form.
The Other One is still a caterpillar, but I have a feeling his transformation is right around the corner. He's been climbing around the top of the case, looking for a place to turn into a crysallis instead of munching on tasty milkweed leaves.
