the countdown begins
The RWA conference is coming up fast. In only eight days, I'll be on a plane, flying to Reno, Nevada. I've been there before (for the Romantic Times convention a few years ago) & loved it, so I'm hoping this year's trip will be equally enjoyable.
But there's so much to do before I go! The cats are running out of food, so I have to get to the vet to buy more...I get my hair colored & cut this afternoon--please, God, let it turn out; I've been caught up in a bad hair spiral for a couple of years now...I need to make notes for the pet sitter...dig out my suitcases...decide what to wear & pack...worry that I'll forget something...charge new batteries for my AlphaSmart since I'm down to about 3% power...feed the birds...decide what book(s) to take along to read on the plane...set the VCRs...buy snacks for the hotel room... The list goes on & on.
